PhD candidates are invited to contribute to this repository to spread knowledge of their activities and achievements, within our internal community and possibly to the outside (providing links).
As a first step, I suggest to post the year admission Presentations if you like to do so.
You may also wish to add relevant published papers, presentations at Conferences and similar.
No extra work is required, but please identify shortly in the title of the posted item who is contributing and the contents.
Please notify the coordinator if for any reason the repository is not open to contributions.
Please adopt a simple scheme for identifying presentations, e.g.:
SurnameName_Curr_ZZZ_Cycle_XX_DDMM20YY.ppt
Please use your specific Cycle Folder!
Presentations with embedded audio description are welcome.

La richiesta deve essere compilata (indirizzata al Colelgio dei Docenti) da:
- Titolari di Assegno di Ricerca
- Dipendenti dalle pubbliche amministrazioni (può essere necessaria - a seconda dei casi - autorizzazione da parte della propria amministrazione)
Contemporaneamente viene presentata rinuncia all'iscrizione al Corso di Dottorato.
La procedura consente in questo modo lo scorrimento della graduatoria dei posti Con Borsa e Senza Borsa.

Bozza modulo di richiesta autorizzazione, da compilare, integrare con eventuale materiale ritenuto opportuno, sottoscritto dal Tutor; deve essere consegnato al supporto amministrativo del Dottorato, una scansione inviata al coordinatore per mail.
Seguirà ratifica del Collegio Docenti.

This is the form which should be provided to the two external evaluators at the end of 3rd year, after the Council has identified the two of them after suggestion by each candidate's supervisor. The evaluators have 2 months time to perform this job. The form is similar to that used in most Italian PhD Schools.

Questa sezione riporta alcuni esiti di inserimento nel lavoro e nella ricerca dei nostri Dottori di Ricerca.
Ho stimolato questi contributi per dimostrare come contribuiamo a formare figure importanti sia per l'industria che per gli enti di ricerca, ma anche per invogliare i dottorandi e rassicurarli sul loro futuro.
Chiaramente le pagine sono del tutto aperte e sarò molto lieto di ricevere contributi sia dai ns. Dottori che dai loro Tutors, e di inserirli. Non nego che per il nucleo di partenza mi sono affidato alle persone con cui sono rimasto in contatto.
Ho fatto la scelta di non includere quelli che hanno avuto ottimi sbocchi nell'Università di Firenze , mi sembrava autoreferenziale...

This folder contains matters to be settled within Sept/Oct 2021 for cycles 34 , 35 and 36.
Namely:
- New year admission (35-36) or Final Exam Admission (34)
- Credits (CFU) recognition for cycle 34, 35 and 36
Both appointments should be fulfilled by the candidates by the end of September 2021, so that the Council can approve in the meeting which is scheduled about Mid-October.
Please read carefully and follow the instructions.
At Sept 8th, the passage-of-year application should be operational; for the credits form we still need some time but you can start collecting the support documents and preparing the excel form. At present, both forms are in Italian (sorry), we are working to translate...

Each Year in September we collect the applications for admission to new year. This follows the oral presentations of activities.
A document summarizing activities during the current PhD year must be loaded for each candidate. Learning/training activities are accounted separately through credits.
The document (2 pages recommended max length) should resume the research activities and achievements and list the new publications.
It should be signed by the candidate and by his supervisor.
For the third (last) year the document (5 pages recommended max length) should provide a general summary of activities during the three years.
In October the PhD Council will evaluate all applications (considering also the evaluation of oral presentations)

After this page you wiill find separate Moodle Classroom tests for each cycle - which are used for loading the application and the support documents.
- Please use the standard Excel file for application which you can find in The Administration + forms section (to be renamed Surname_Name.xls)
- We accept all types of official certification: statements of participation (e.g. seminars, summer schools etc.), letters by the teacher or by the organizer of the seminar stating that you attended, etc.; for remote attendance similarly an attendance certificate should be provided.
- For activities NOT officially among those scheduled or preliminarily accepted by this PhD School, endorsement by your supervisor is required.
- Please remember that credits are ONLY for learning or training activities. Participation to conferences is not learning or training (unless, for example, a Project sumemr school for PhDs was organized within the Conference; this is possible)
- As only one file can be attached to Moodle Classroom tests, please use ZIP for creating an archive; name it with your surname_name and add "_CFUSept2021": e.g. Rossi_Mario_CFUSept2021.zip
Documents MUST be loaded before the end of September; they will be evaluated by the Curricula coordinators, and finally by the PhD Coordinator; they will be presented at the PhD Council to take a decision within October.
