    A) Corso di  Prof. Brownlees : The 30-hour course is entitled "The language of news and advertising in a diachronic perspective". The course will focus on how over the last four centuries the language of news and advertising has adapted to the socio-historical and material context in which the texts have been produced.  See link 'Course of Prof Brownlees'  for lecture notes ('dispensa') containing information about course, lessons and exam. 


    B) Corso delle Prof.sse Dvorak, Lazzaro e Sainsbury. The 6-hour course, which takes place in the first week of the second semester, is made up of three different lectures: "Landscape/Langscape", "The language of  Sports Education in the U.S.A." and "Caribbean English".
     
    C) Lettorato:   John Gilbert, Philomena Lazzaro, Christine Richardson, Elizabeth Sainsbury, Scott Staton.

    Lettorato Coordinator: Elizabeth Sainsbury   Office hours: Friday  Room 24 vSR (by appointment only) 


    For 12 credits students must complete A) Prof. Brownlees's course in the second semester, B) 3 special lectures with C) 4  semesters of lettorato .


    The Ufficio Tutor is open from 9am to 3pm Monday to Friday.

    PLEASE NOTE - STUDENTS MUST NOT SIGN UP TO REGISTER THEIR OVERALL GRADE WITH PROF. BROWNLEES  UNTIL THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE GRADES OF ALL THE LETTORATI (IF IN DOUBT CONTACT YOUR LETTORATI TEACHERS FIRST).
