OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE
The objective of the laboratory is the acquisition of skills for design and development of industrial design products, from the design concept, to the development of all necessary components for prototyping, with attention to the feasibility and manufacturing aspects.
The laboratory is focused on the simulation of activities oriented to the design and development of innovative products. The activities will take into account both aspects of aesthetics, usability and user interaction, and aspects concerning materials and manufacturing process.

Course program
The Digital Design module will address, in particular, the following topics:
- Basic theoretical knowledge about Interaction Design and Human Computer Interaction;
- Theoretical and practical aspects of communication and use of digital content on the web
- Theoretical knowledge and design strategies for User Interface (UI) design;
- Legislative and technical aspects for the development of usable and accessible UI and interactive systems;
- UI and User Experience and evaluation methods;
- Prototyping and digital product validation.
The training objectives of the sip are to train designers capable of:
- Design the behavior of products with respect to users in contexts;
- Use the advanced technological paradigm to shape product behaviour
- Integrate interaction and service design;
- Assessing the quality of an interactive product (through the application of innovative and multidisciplinary evaluation methods.
