The course gives students a comprehensive introduction to all main IP law branches: copyrights, patents, trademarks, designs, and trade secrets. It explains their key features and relationship with sustainability from an international and comparative EU-US perspective. During the course, students will be provided with an overview of the substantive law of each type of IP and the analytical tools to examine the broader economic and sustainability implications of these regimes.
