Course information

The module critically discusses legal approaches to social citizenship and solidarity in a comparative
dimension. In particular, the module addresses the bidirectional relationship between social
citizenship and solidarity through the lens of contemporary European states' responses to the
challenges posed by the application of the principle of equality, including with respect to vulnerable
people.
