This course contributes to the educational objectives of the MA Programme in International Relations and European Studies (RISE) by providing students with the theoretical knowledge and analytical tools necessary to understand and interpret political and institutional processes in Central European democracies. Through the study of political systems, party politics, democratic representation, political participation, and European integration, students will develop competencies relevant to political analysis, policy analysis, institutional relations, research, consultancy, and public affairs in national, European, and international contexts.
