Informazioni sul corso

Classes are divided in three phases with the following focus: 

1. The basic terminology and categories regarding how urban planning and international cooperation contribute to socio-spatial transformations in cities.

2. Some key approaches to orient the development of theoretical, methodological and technical skills suitable for research and action.

3. The role of some non-state actors to introduce the complexity of dynamics at play in urban planning and international cooperation interventions.

Students are expected to read the readings assigned for each session prior to joining the session itself, in order to be prepared to actively participate in thorough discussions on the content of the readings assigned for each session.

Foreseen tests include 3 class presentations and a final report . Active participation and sessions attendance will also contribute to determine the final grade.
