Dear PhD students,

I'am writing you regarding the presentation of your work (for the admission to the following year or for the internal presentation of the final work) that will take place in October.

Since this year we have decided to stream your presentations (both in the case of face-to-face and remote presentation) and to strongly involve Professors and Researchers of the Department in the review process, we kindly ask to follow what we report below:

1. fill in the excel (https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1A5J8TjUrweDSLjTKpxvRh2OYgPRzQpNg) table by 10/09 indicating:
- title of the work (also provisional), that should be the title of the thesis for the 3rd year students;
- brief description of the work (specify type: numerical/experimental/use of particular techniques ... it should just help professors/researchers for identifying the main topics of the work) ;
- indicate if the on-line transmission is allowed or not (the presentation may be confidential due to NDAs).

In this way each lecturer (Professor/researcher) can choose the presentations to attend according to his/her expertise and interest.

As for the presentations, the dates and times indicated on the excel table are provisional, they will be consolidated and confirmed at the end of September.

PhD students at the end of their cycle will have 30 minutes for the presentation, the others 15 minutes; there will be a 5-minute dedicated to Q&A.

2. For both the closure of the cycle and the passage of the year, Prof. Manfrida has created a task on the Moodle platform where you can insert your report/presentation and the CFU summary file. (as per message of 29/07/2021).
