A one-semester course which will be held in both semesters. The course will look at aspects of British culture and examine how these inform the language. Particular attention will be paid to different kinds of 'text' including written texts, videos, television shows and films. Students will be expected to complete homework tasks and present material during classes. The final mark for the course will be based on an end-of-semester "exam." which will take the form of a  group paper or group presentation with some consideration given also to homework done during the course.

Material will be made available during the course, using this Moodle page.

Any student who misses more than two lessons during the semester must do the Make up Work (on the page below) as well as the Paper or Presentation order to have a final mark.
