Rossi | The course is the first module of a package of three courses (one for each year) concerning the application of X-rays to the analysis of materials using non-destructive techniques (diffraction, fluorescence and microtomography). This course aims at providing the basic knowledge for the acquisition, processing and interpretation of experimental data from X-ray diffraction in the context of the characterization of different types of materials. The course includes two lessons (and a laboratory session which will take place in December 2021. To access the final laboratory session, the student must have attended both lessons. Interested students are kindly invited to contact the Professors in charge of the course (p.rossi@unifi.it; paola.paoli@unifi.it) by the end of November.
