1. Pls be aware that I have uploaded my audio comments to your audio summaries into the same google folder where you uploaded your  summaries - my comments refer to each single summary which I have labeled with your names.

2. In our last lesson we went through the 2 texts and 1 video regarding offshoring, globalisation and inequality and answered the questions in the Offshoring - worksheet; for you to revise and check your work, I have  uploaded:
a) the article from the handout globalisation and inequality within countries with the key concepts highlighted and how it is connected to the video;
b) the transcript of the video on globalisation and inequality; pls note that I have inserted in brackets the numbers which refer to the answers to the questions on the Offshoring - worksheet.

3. I have uploaded a 6 minute recording by the BBC on Circular Economy (see below) which is very closely linked to the topics we went through in class and in fact, uses a lot of the same vocabulary. 
I suggest you use this audio not only to revise/learn vocabulary but mainly to practice your speaking skills, so pls:

a. listen to the audio once without stopping, just trying to understand the main points;
b. then read the tapescript (see uploaded doc) and study the vocabulary;
c. then listen again without looking at the tapescript to see if this time you understand every word;
d. now read the tapescript aloud WHILE listening to the audio, trying to keep pace with the speakers. Do this as often as you feel like, it is a very good exercise to practice speaking, to get your tongue around words and sentences and improve your fluency!

Be aware that you can do this kind of exercise with any audio you come across, it's great practice!!

4. Now pick any 6 minute BBC recording you prefer https://www.bbc.co.uk/learningenglish/english/features/6-minute-english , listen carefully and be prepared to summarize the gist to share with your classmates during the next lesson - the summary should be oral and not longer than 1 minute.
